chemni usip

The company Chemni Usip s.r.o. was founded in 1996 and the main focus of its activity is surface treatment of metals. This focus is due to the many years of experience of the company owners in this area, and the first introduced surface treatment technology was chemical nickel plating.

Electroless nickel-phosphorus plating is a type of surface treatment in which nickel is autocatalytically extracted from an aqueous solutions in the form of a continuous and adherent coating, without the use of an external source of electric current. The key advantage is the ability to apply coating
to complex shapes, blind holes, threads, and edges uniformly.

  • Maximal dimensions of parts (L x W x H): 1500 x 600 x 600 mm up to 300 kg.
  • Medium phosphorus content in coating (8,5 to 10 wt. %).
  • Deposition of steel and casts (including stainless), aluminium and copper alloys.
  • Coating thickness: 3 to 150 μ
  • Hardness: 550 HV 0.1 as plated. 1000 HV 0.1 after heat treatment (substitution of hard chrome plating).
  • Wear resistance: Very good thanks to high hardness and natural lubricity
  • Corrosion resistance: According to ASTM B117 salt spray test > 96 h at 25 µm coating.
  • Magnetism: low magnetism.
