- Hot black oxide
Alkaline hot black oxide (hot blackening) shall especially secure visual aspect of a treated part, but also increase corrosion resistance of blackened components in combination with preservative oils. The result is then formation of conversion iron oxide layer.
- Maximal dimensions of parts (L x W x H): 1500 x 600 x 700 mm up to 500 kg.
- No dimension change.
- No harm to polished areas.
- Corrosion resistance: After impregnation with preservative oil 160 – 180 h – Salt spray test
to ASTM B-117 /DIN 50021/.
